With CE QUE LA LUMIÈRE MURMURE 1 , Kathleen Roby, a contemporary abstract painter, captures a moment of transition where the light heralds the return of spring. Inspired by the seasonal variations characteristic of Métabetchouan, this work conveys the gradual gentleness of a new light that is taking hold.

The composition, born from an intuitive gesture, evokes a break in the clouds, a luminous opening where the hues lighten and warm. The artist thus suggests a subtle transformation of the landscape, where light becomes a bearer of renewal and hope.
