In LUMIÈRE D'ÉTÉ , Kathleen Roby, a contemporary abstract painter, offers a vibrant interpretation of the summer light specific to the Métabetchouan region of Lac-Saint-Jean. Inspired by the reflections on the lake and the intensity of long summer days, this work celebrates a light in constant transformation.

Through a rich and warm palette, the artist evokes the variations of light that animate the landscape, where water acts as a natural mirror, amplifying the colors of the sky. The luminous and contrasting hues convey the energy and vitality of the summer season.
