The final painting in the series Fenêtre en hiver 3 , this work explores the gentleness and silence of winter in Métabetchouan. The diffuse light of the snowy park enters the artist's studio and nourishes his creation. Through the thick textures and layers of white, a few bursts of red and black evoke the persistent life beneath the snow. A fragment of cheesecloth, integrated like a curtain, subtly references the warm interior that observes this sleeping landscape. This work is an invitation to experience winter in its most intimate poetry.
