"À l'aube d'un automne" is a work born from a moment of intimate contemplation. Every September, from the window of my studio, I witness the silent transformation of the small park below. Green gives way to golden yellows, then to deep reds. It is a slow and poetic metamorphosis that heralds the season I love most: autumn .

 On canvas, this transition takes shape in a gestural and intuitive composition, where the layers of material, textures and colors evoke the chromatic richness of this period. The touches of 24K gold leaf symbolize the precious bursts of light filtering through the trees. Oil pastel , collage and graphite pencil add an organic depth to the composition.

 Each pictorial element is like a leaf caught in the wind: unpredictable, fluid, free. The work expresses this unique sensation of suspending time, of savoring the moment when nature prepares to fall asleep while offering its ultimate flamboyance.
