"Rêve de lune" is a work born from the fragile and poetic light of December in Quebec. At this time of year, the light declines early in the afternoon, giving way to a soft and enveloping twilight. It was in this subdued atmosphere that I began to paint, without a specific plan, letting the black and pink colors interact with each other.

 Little by little, a dreamlike atmosphere took hold: a dream taking shape, floating somewhere between the silence of the night sky and the inner imagination. The moon , present as a discreet silhouette, acts here as a guide, an inner beacon towards other worlds, other possibilities.

 The spontaneous gestures, the drips, the graphic markings and the multiple layers of color translate this state of floating , of suspended reverie. “Rêve de lune” is an invitation to let oneself be carried away by the inner light when that of the day is scarce.
