Created on watercolor paper, BLEU 2  is the second work in a trilogy entitled HOME and dedicated to the sensitive and emotional exploration of the color blue.


 True to his approach, the artist deconstructs the idea of blue as a cold color, imbuing it with an unexpected and enveloping warmth. Through layering, mineral textures, and plays of light, shades of blue blend and interact with more organic touches, creating a composition that is both profound and soothing. In BLEU 2 , the dominant blue evokes a comforting gentleness, like a light breeze that accompanies the first chills of winter.


 This pictorial exploration naturally led to the creation of the HOME series, inspired by the Quebec winter, a time when the need for warmth, refuge, and human connection is more pronounced. The work thus conveys a feeling of intimacy and comfort, inviting the viewer to slow down and allow themselves to be enveloped by the atmosphere.
