Part of the Conversation avec la nature series, this work by abstract artist Kathleen Roby is inspired by an immersive stay at her forest camp on Quebec's North Shore.

 Escapade forestière 4 evokes a sensory communion with the forest: ashes from wood fires, peat, and rust powder, diluted in the water of Lac-au-Brochet, compose this intuitive and textured piece. Fluid forms and spontaneous lines, mixed with an asemic writing, allow us to hear the whispers of nature.

 This small format offers a poetic window onto the fragile and powerful fragments of the plant world.
