With CAP NORD , Kathleen Roby, a contemporary abstract painter, explores the silent poetry of Quebec's winter landscapes. Inspired by a snowy morning in Métabetchouan, this work suggests the presence of a motionless boat, moored to an ice-lined wharf.

The composition evokes a scene suspended in time, where the boat seems both real and ethereal. Between suggested figuration and abstraction, the artist offers a sensitive vision of the St. Lawrence River in winter, where calm and immensity prevail.
