In Derniers jours d'automne 3, Kathleen Roby continues her exploration of late blooms through a vertical, delicate, and organic composition. Inspired by the exceptional autumn of 2025, she captures the fragile moment when flowers, in a final breath, release their last petals before the first frosts.
 Textures are layered—marble powder, fibers, pigments, and collages—creating a rich, tactile surface that evokes the strata of time and light. Deep reds and gestural marks suggest a delicate, almost suspended movement.
 This work, the third in the series, celebrates the ephemeral beauty of nature at the threshold of winter.
